Your branding is vitally important to your business. If you haven’t already done so, now is the time to invest in a professional logo and creating a style guide so that all of your content matches and your brand can be recognizable across all platforms.
2. CONTENT STRATEGY
Content is still king and you can use content to sell your product or services or simply to offer additional value to your customers. You should have a simple strategy of creating content once a week, uploading it to your website, blog or social media, and tracking the results. Your content can be photos, videos, e-books, reports, infographics or just about anything else you can think of. Make sure the styles, fonts and colors you use match your branding.
3. CREATE AN ADD-ON SERVICE
In order to increase the income you generate, why not create a valuable add-on to upsell to your customers? You can offer a matching product, or for services offer faster delivery, a coaching program, a Facebook mastermind group, or something else related to your best selling items or packages.
4. ADD A NEW REVENUE STREAM
There’s no reason to put all of your eggs in one basket. If you are successful in one area, there may be a way to package and sell your experience as another revenue stream buy selling e-books, webinars, seminars, speaking engagements or online courses.
5. REVIEW YOUR GOALS AND KNOW YOUR NUMBERS
If you aren’t meeting your income goals for 2017, try reviewing your goals and action plan. Take a look at the analytics generated by your current marketing endeavors. If something is working, take advantage by spending more time, money or energy using that method to get even more sales. If something isn’t working, try making small changes until you start to see the desired results. For example, if your Facebook ad isn’t generating traffic, try changing the image, call to action or marketing demographics. Do not change too many things at once or you won’t know which change had the most impact. Start small, and track your results.
