01. THE DESIGN QUESTIONNAIRE

The intake form is an essential and vital part of the design process. It helps the client think through their likes and dislikes and formulate a vision for the project. The more specific and detailed the client is on the design questionnaire the easier it is for me to nail your vision. Over the years I have tweaked and refined the design questionnaire in order to ensure I get all the information I need for a successful project.

02. PROJECT ACTIVATION

Once the client completes the design questionnaire form and deposit has been paid, I will thoroughly review the design questionnaire form. From there I will conduct research and narrow the focus for the concepts. Once both parties are clear on the game plan and on the same page we will activate the project.

03. BRAINSTORM & DESIGN (Internal)

After the project is activated I will brainstorm and begin sketching out rough drafts.

04. PRESENTATION

I will deliver a presentation with the number of concepts in your package (1 or 3), choosing only the best and most in-sync concepts for you, the client to review. From there you will be able to select one concept that works the best for you.

05. REVISIONS

Once the client selects one concept to proceed with they will need to relay the specific edits and revisions that they would like to see. The client can provide feedback via the revision form.

06. DELIVERY

Once we’ve found the perfect design and the completion payment is received, I will prepare the full design deliverables set. The deliverables set is based on one selected design, in one layout, and includes various file formats.

FAQ'S

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BEGIN MY PROJECT?

Once your payment is received, you are officially marked down as a client, and we can proceed – yay! For branding and design projects, please fill out the Design Form. Please be sure to upload the following to the form, or email it here.
Logo – Please provide your logo in HIGH QUALITY .png (transparent background) format.
High Quality Photos – I DO NOT work with cell phone, or low quality images. Professional photos only. If needed, I can implement one, or several of my purchased stock photos, in your design.
Verbiage – Please have the design verbiage clear and concise, for your design.

HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE?

Each and every design is unique. There is a turnaround time given for each service. However, revisions (if needed) may prolong the finalized design. Revisions make the process longer because there may be other clients’ work that I am revising as well. If you are in a time crunch, please be aware of these things OR order a rush service, if permitted.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE DESIGN YOU PRESENT TO ME?

I aim to bring the best work to my clients. There will be times when our minds don’t meet and you will want changes to the drafts provided. I will continue to work on the project until you are satisfied. That is the goal. Keep in mind, after the revision limit a flat fee of $15 per round may incur. Once a project is finalized and you are sent the file(s), future changes will incur a fee for any requested changes.

WHAT IS YOUR COMMUNICATION POLICY?

I communicate via email and text message, for paper trail purposes. I do not accept phone consultations. Please allow 48-72 business hours for a reply to your inquiry. Inquiries sent on weekends will be responded to on the next business day.

DO I OWN MY LOGO AND DESIGNS?

Unless advised otherwise, yes, the person or legal entity who purchased the design package is the exclusive owner of the website design content which includes the uploaded files that are stored within the allocated web server providing FULL PAYMENT has been received. This does not include: any code source files, any original stock images, any photoshop (.psd), illustrator (.eps or .ai), inDesign (.indd), or any flash (.fla) source files – these original source files remain the property of My Branding Strategist

CAN I CHANGE MY MIND AFTER I PLACE AN ORDER?

Once an order has been placed, it is automatically added to my design queue (list). Changes made can compromise your place. This includes adding something as well. If you need to make a change to your order, please contact me as soon as possible and I will let you know if that can be accommodated.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?

In order to begin projects, a full payment or deposit has to be made. No work will begin if invoices aren’t paid.

All balances must be paid upon final design approval, before final design files are delivered, and/or website is transferred. If using a Sezzle payment plan, your orders may be delivered before your final payment.

My Branding Strategist reserves the right to suspend work & with-hold delivering of any project documents until past due balances/late fees are paid.

Late fees will be issued if invoices aren’t paid upon the agreed deadline.

Late fees are $25.

I accept payments via debit card, credit card via Stripe, Invoicing via Stripe, as well as Paypal.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Payment plans are available for all orders. We have Sezzle Payment plans and offline payment plans.

Before commiting to a payment plan, please be sure that you will be able to make said payments on agreed dates. If you fail to make your payments without notice, it will either result in a late fee, or cancellation of project.
If in the rare case you are no longer able to make your payments, your project will be placed on hold until a final agreement is made between the client and designer.
